Color Combinations
Being an art student, I should be more observant in my daily life even when I am having my dinner. A simple meal of roasted duck depicts a vibrant color combination, and a strong contrast of color between the sauce and duck skin. Reflecting, as a fine art student, knowing how to use color in my artwork is crucial in order to make my artwork more attention grabbing when necessary.
Principle Of Art
The pictures shown different level of repeated patterns reminds me of M.C. Escher. Patterns are an important part of both math and art. Patterns are when something is in repeated groups. And M.C. Escher said that he was an artist who used had more in common with math than art. Reflecting, I should learn from him and use more elements and involve various principle of arts in my artwork in my future artwork.
Forced Connections Presentation
After the presentation, I have learned to think creatively in my work and be more confident to speak up in front of people. Here are some tips I learned through this presentation. It's important to speak louder so the audience is able to hear me. For better understanding I learned to use my body language. Reflecting, for professionals today, presentation and public-speakings are more important than ever. Strong presentation skills and ability to engage and connect can truly set me apart from the crowd.

Forced Connections
In this class exercise, we have to forcefully establish links between two objects from our bags into a new product. Our team has chosen a comb and glasses. We combined them into a ''comb-glass" so that girls will never have a hard time finding a comb because they are two in one. Reflecting, starting with doing what is necessary, subsequently thinking of what is possible and suddenly we are doing the impossible. This exercise pushed us to expand our mind and to think creatively without excluding any thought as impossible during our thought process. I will keep an open mind in the future because nothing is truly impossible as we learned from the activity.

Cheer Leading
I saw my fellow schoolmate practicing cheer leading for NAFA fun day. Reflecting, I am inspired by their energy. I shall learn to infuse vibrancy and energy in my artwork.
Botanic Garden
A trip to botanic garden, I was truly amazing by the scenery. The sceneries reminds me of the paintings of French nature painter, Claude Monet. He was one of the most famous French Impressionist painter and I look up to him and his revolutionary art techniques. The water lilies in the lake reminded me of his most famous painting, the Water Lilies. Reflecting, I realized that as an aspiring painter, it is important to visit nature parks to draw inspiration for my artwork instead of just looking for references on the computer.
